This coming fall I will be studying at....ESSEC School of Business!
If you know anything about France, they LOVE to have super long names for what seems like everything, so they abbreviate so many names.
ESSEC is actually: 'École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales'
Told you it was long! I feel really blessed to be attending this school because it is honestly a phenomenal school known world wide and #1 in France for business. I'm proud to be a part of the SDSU IB program with all their amazing university connections.
The program I will be working with is called EPSCI...or 'École des Practiciens du Commerce International'...or International Business Undergraduate studies for us English speakers.
All of my classes are going to be upper division business classes in French so I definitely have a semester ahead of me that will keep me challenged and most of all, perfecting my French. I am a bit nervous, but a million times more excited than anything.
My plane ticket is set for August 17th out of LAX direct to Paris. So exciting! Luckily my friend got on the same flight as me so we will be arriving in Paris 7 days before our dorm move-in date so we're going to EXPLORE EXPLORE EXPLORE. Quite the adventure, non? =)
I feel like the second I get to Paris I will want to see EVERYTHING in a split second. Obviously not possible, but I keep having to remind myself that I have a whole YEAR over there to see and experience all Paris has to offer. If you havent noticed, my head is up in the clouds almost all the time... Paris here I come!
Here are a few pictures of ESSEC. Such a pretty modern school. Honestly, I wish I were going to school in a castle or châteaux or something outrageously old like that....but ESSEC will do. I will just have to tour my Hogwarts-esq dream school somwhere else around Europe.
